Applications
SF6 gas density monitor, also called sulfur hexafluoride gas pressure gauge, is mainly used to measure the pressure and density of SF₆ gas in sealed containers.
- Power equipment monitoring: Widely used in SF₆ gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), high-voltage circuit breakers, and gas-insulated cabinets to monitor SF₆ gas density changes inside electrical equipment
- Safety indication: The dial includes “Safe” (green) and “Unsafe” (red) zones, which visually indicate whether the gas density is within the safe range, helping detect gas leakage in time and ensure insulation and arc-quenching performance of the equipment.
